Meeting Notice

Nov. 17th  12:00 - 04:00
Northwest Medical Center
6200 N LaCholla Blvd
Tucson, AZ

Classroom C & D (Next to Cafeteria)

Hello all,

Our November meeting will be presented by business associates with Ingersoll Rand Healthcare Practice.

One of the challenges many of us in facilities deal with is keeping a location secure, while still keeping within the constraints of life safety code. As well as keeping an area easily accessible to staff, without compromising those same standards.

Our presentation will cover:

  • Maintaining a Safe & Security Requirement – what do the codes/standards/guidelines allow?
  • Discuss areas of a healthcare facility that share common security and safety needs
  • Discuss code issues that have an effect on hardware and access control choices for each group of openings
  • Discuss people and equipment issues that have an effect on hardware and access control choices
  • List products that will address the needs and issues of these groups while still adhering to codes and standard

We’ll start off with a lunch and networking for the first hour, then get into the material at 1:00. There will likely be a short business topic towards the end of the meeting – since it is the end of the 2011 schedule.

See you there!
